Working at Enzene with some of the best scientists has taught me a lot about Bio-Pharmaceuticals in a short duration. When I earned my PhD from De Montfort University in Leicester, UK, I was clear that industry was the way forward from there. Enzene has provided me with the opportunity to use my capabilities whilst I learn new things every day. Additionally, Enzene allows me to showcase the business acumen with my scientific expertise day-to-day basis.
I recently completed my first year at Enzene Biosciences after completing my Ph.D. from Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research (Novartis Research Foundation) in Basel, Switzerland.
This being my transition from academia into the corporate world I was under the impression that R&D in the industry is rigid and goal oriented. However, Enzene has provided me a work culture that nurtures innovation and entrepreneurship. One such example of such spirit of innovation is a forum called as ‘Transformational Science’, where scientists are encouraged to channel their ideas apart from their assigned projects.
Enzene has not only provided me with a platform to fulfil my passion for science but also encouraged me to go beyond my primary responsibility as a scientist. Towards that goal, I have been involved in diverse work profiles such as designing a new website for our company. Throughout the year, my experience working at Enzene has been terrific and it brings me great pride to be one of the Enzenites!
After finishing my postdoctoral training from the University of Illinois, USA, I joined Enzene in May 2016. The decision was not easy as it was choosing between academia and industry. However, within a few weeks after joining, I realized that I came to the right place where I can fulfil my passion to bring the science from “bench-to-bedside”. Enzene has provided me the platform to channel my scientific capabilities towards innovation while being committed to improve millions of patient’s access to affordable health care.
I started my journey at Enzene in 2016, coming from a Downstream Process Development background with Masters in Biochemical Engineering, Enzene’s teal culture and belief in its employees has given me an opportunity to learn and explore in the field of Business development along with constant growth in Purification Process Development. This experience has truly instilled the Passion, Innovation and way to look ahead in life. I am really thankful and proud to be a part of Enzene Family.

Since the time I have joined Enzene two things always remain constant motivation and inspiration. Being from an Electrical Engineering background Enzene has given me huge exposure to different types of work an Engineer has to perform.
